The most populated area in Belize is Belize city having 70,800 people living there. Over all, Belize has about 356,600 people as of 2012 living there.
Ethnicities.
Creole.
Creole are offspring of African slaves imported to work the logging camps and European adventurers. The word "Creole" means to raise a child born int a family. The Creole people make up 21% of the Belizean population and about 75% of the Diaspora.
Some natives, even those blonde and blue-eyed, may call themselves Creoles. It is more cultural than racial, and is not limited to some certain physical appearance.

Garinagu.
The Garinagu are a mix of West/Central African, Arawak, and Carib ancestry. Its believed that they were not brought here because of slavery much like the Creole people. Some think that they were brought on a ship that has wrecked, or over took a ship.
Mestizos and spanish.
The Mestizo culture was originated from a mixture of Spanish and Maya. The Mestizo people make up at least 50% of the Belizean population. Most Mestizos and Spanish speak Spanish, English and Belize Kriol fluently.
Other.
The remaining 9% or so of the population consist of a mix of Mennonite farmers, Indians, Chinese, whites from the United States and Canada, and many other foreign groups brought to assist the country's development.

In Belize they mostly speak English, Kriol, and Spanish, although they have others like Maya Kekchi, Garifuna, Maya Mopan, Plautdietsch, Chinese, Maya Yucatec, and Hindustani.
